Your brakes are a wear and tear item that will gradually deteriorate, usually with front brakes wearing faster than the rear. We recommend that you have a brake safety check at least once a year along with regular brake fluid changes.

If you do not carry out this regular change your brake fluid absorbs moisture which reduces its boiling temperature, which could result in increased braking distances, reduced braking efficiency and potentially brake failure.

We recommend that Renaults have a brake fluid change every 4 years and Citroens are every 2 years or 25,000 miles.
